(Listen to "It's All One Thing")
It’s All One Thing
It’s all one thing, but not
only one,
So what are you thinking,
what have you done?
Ancient wisdom always said
there is no separation
Quantum physics shakes its
head and offers confirmation
We’ve been here since the
start of it; we’re more than just a part of it
The truth is too weird for
science to invent
But getting to the heart of
it- now therein lies the art of it:
We don’t just live here-- we
are the event:
The lunar solar lover,
dancing cheek to cheek
Then losing one another,
playing hide-and-seek
The trouble comes in letting
division be defined
Because we keep forgetting
that everything’s divine
See, the map is not the
road, written notes are not the tune,
The words are just the code,
fingers pointing at the moon
Life is now for living, the
spirit’s here to lift
Soul is found by giving—The
Present is the gift
Listen to the facts: Time
and space are curved
What goes out comes
back. Energy is conserved.
Here’s the inside track, the
grand cosmic blurb:
Creation is an act. Existence is a verb.
It’s all one thing, but not
only one
So what are we
thinking? What have we done?
