Mind-Body Segue

That consciousness might know itself requires organs of perception

Seen heard tasted smelt and felt together forge proprioception

Awareness of form and change of position

A synaptic storm of thought and volition

A spirit might mourn its worldly collision

Regarding with scorn flesh and bone apparition

From the womb torn or removed by incision

Naked and shorn by egregious omission

Conditioned by norms and learned inhibitions

What is this? Porn? That's nearly sedition!
